The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is the third largest English-language school board in Quebec. Its territory extends over three administrative regions and covers an area of more than 35,000 square kilometres. More than 14,000 students attend its 26 elementary schools, 9 high schools and 4 adult education and vocational training centres. It also runs a nature centre.

In order to comply with the requirements of the Act respecting contracts for construction work by public bodies, the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION must proceed by way of a call for tenders in accordance with the procedure established by the Regulation respecting contracts for construction work by public bodies.

THE PUBLIC ORGANIZATION wishes to issue a call for tenders for the execution of the renovation of the bus landing and parking lot expansion at Mountainview Elementary School.

This call for tenders does not include any additional options for the work or services described in the attached documentation. Full details of any additional options that may be applicable to this public tender are contained in Document 3 - Contract at section 15.00 Term .

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for December 17, 2020 at 9:30 am. The meeting point for this visit is set at 2001 Guy Street, in the City of Deux-Montagnes, Province of Quebec, J7R 1W6.

Bid Guarantee
4.01.01 Constitution
The SUBMISSIONER must accompany its Submission with a bid security equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the price quoted in its Submission. This bid security must be in one of the following forms:
(a) a bond issued in favour of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.15 hereof, which shall conform to the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Schedule 4.01A of the Tender Form;

(b) a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, made payable to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION;

(c) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favour of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a Financial Institution as defined in section 0.01.15 hereof, which must comply with the requirements of the "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" model reproduced in Schedule 4.01B of the Submission Form.
