Canada - Building Moving Services, Walton Lighthouse

Description

The Municipality of East Hants (“East Hants”) wishes to move a building, known as the Walton Lighthouse, from its current position to another position on the same site. This work includes, without limitation, the following, as further described in Section 2, Statement of Requirements (collectively, the “Services”):

- The design and construction of a new foundation;

- The services to move the building and reinstall on the new foundation, including excavation, rigging services, and lifting or towing services;

- Modifications to building to create access to the crawl space of the new foundation;

- Demolition, removal, and disposal of the old foundation; and

- Site remediation including, but not limited to, filling in the old foundation and fixing any damage done during the Services.

To this end, East Hants is seeking competitive Quotations from the marketplace to identify a Vendor to possibly supply these Services.
