Brandenburger Wasser- und Abwassergesellschaft mbH (BRAWAG) operates a drinking water network to supply the districts of Kirchmöser and Plaue as well as the neighboring communities (Wusterwitz, Woltersdorf, Bensdorf). The network is fed by the Mahlenzien waterworks. Drinking water is transported from the Mahlenzien waterworks to the supply areas via the main pipeline (HWL) DN 500 steel, which was built in 1965. Due to the importance of the drinking water main pipeline for the security of supply and the age-related damage and signs of corrosion, BRAWAG intends to renew the pipeline. The competition does not provide for a ranking of the applicants. Rather, applicants who are suitable to carry out the construction work in accordance with the participation criteria should be able to qualify for the bidding phase. There is no upper limit on the number of qualified bidders for the bidding phase; in the bidding phase, the bids will be ranked according to the award criterion as the procedure progresses. A ranking order of the evaluable bids is drawn up on the basis of the respective initial bid. The top three to four bidders in the ranking list are included in further negotiations, and only those bidders who are selected for negotiations are then asked to prepare their respective bids accordingly. These offers can then also be negotiated in a second round of negotiations. In the course of the negotiations and with the final offers, the final evaluations and rankings of the offers will then be drawn up. The awarding authority reserves the right to award the contract to the respective initial bids.
