Description

The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is looking to develop a strategic agenda/road map.

This includes a portfolio of action plans and initiatives that would support its Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management Programme (BEMP).

You should be able to:
- review of relevant strategies, frameworks, action plans being coordinated or carried out by the OECS commission to identify areas for land, water, biodiversity and ecosystems and recommend priority actions for implementation of strategies, frameworks, action plans at a national and regional level
- hold meetings and consultations with the OECS commission and BEMP to identify elements of an agenda to implement a Biodiversity and Ecosystems Framework (BEF) and Strategic Action Plans (SAPs) - to identify elements for a land and water resources development strategy
- develop an implementation plan /agenda/road map for advancing implementation of the OECS BEF and SAPs at national and regional level (to include the purpose, objectives detailed scope of works and expertise required for implementation)
- consult with OECS staff to decide on the approach/outline/content for a projects portfolio to support implementation of the BEMP
- produce a projects portfolio aimed at using resources for implementing strategic actions for biodiversity, ecosystems, land and water resources
