Canada - BCWS Large Water Moving Services

Description

The Ministry of Forests (the “Ministry”) on behalf of BC Wildfire Service (“BCWS”), a branch within the Ministry, invites Respondents to submit Responses to provide Large Water Moving and Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery ("MPRR") Services to the Province. The Services include the provision of Equipment and Crew(s) to pump water out of natural resources into hoses that feed the water to a variety of equipment such as sprinklers, portable tanks, and other systems. In addition, the Services require an estimator to advise the Province as to the Equipment and Crew required to respond to an Incident. The Services will be used by the Province on sustained action wildfires to support BCWS’s wildfire operations. The Province intends to enter into Standing Arrangements with the top eight (8) highest-scoring Respondents per requisite hose size category who meet all mandatory criteria, qualification criteria, and minimum scores. The initial term of the Standing Arrangement is from the Execution Date to March 31, 2026. Each Standing Arrangement will contain an option to extend whereby the Province reserves the right, at its sole option, to extend the Standing Arrangement for one (1) additional term of 12 months on the same terms and conditions.
