Germany - Barrier-free expansion of Dillingen (Danube) station

Description

The following measures are required to provide barrier-free access to the station: Execution of the platforms at 55 cm above ground level;
Adaptation of the access situation at platform track 1 with walkways to the public space
Installation of elevators to connect the central platform to the public space. Adaptation of the new construction of the PU in connection with the installation of the elevators and new construction of the staircases the staircases are to be provided with enclosures with a projection of at least 3.00 m to protect them from the weather
In order to connect the new staircase and the elevator to the central platform in accordance with the regulations, the platform needs to be widened in the access area in this context, track 3 needs to be swivelled and the overhead line needs to be adapted accordingly. The platforms are to be equipped with appropriate weather protection, seating, display cases, guidance systems for the visually impaired, dynamic optical and acoustic passenger information systems (DSA) and lighting. The platform lengths and heights correspond to the measures agreed with the BEG.
