Description

a The object of the bid, and what TGR requires to contract, is the following:
● TGR Data Center server and database data backup solution services, to replace the current backup solution implemented at TGR.
The solution must offer full function components to back up workloads that are protected in various environments. This solution must provide visibility of the data protection environment across multiple systems and sites, as well as protect multiple workloads running in a variety of configurations, such as NAS, Storage, tape, hardware snapshots or even more complex storage applications. This service seeks to provide the technical capabilities and operations to implement a backup and recovery solution that ensures TGR adequate protection of its data.
b The bidder must consider in its proposal a backup solution considering the productive system in TGR's Data Center, the solution must be able to transfer backup data securely and efficiently to the secondary data center and to the cloud, for disaster recovery, and offer continuous CDP data protection for operational recovery and disaster recovery in virtualized environments.
c The productive backup system must consider back up for temporary storage and robotic library tape transfer. It should also provide robust resiliency to TGR operational continuity through automated data isolation, analytics and recovery functions.
d The following assumptions should be considered when bidding for the backup solution:
● The backup process shall safeguard the integrity of all data to be backed up.
● It shall be efficient in the use of resources, execution times and hardware required.
● It will guarantee the full recovery of the backed up data in all events. It shall not interfere with the normal operation of the systems.
● The backup of current capacities and growths during the backup must be guaranteed.
e Based on the above background, TGR expects the Offeror to implement a backup service, based on specific RPO and RTO and thereby ensure the safeguarding and recovery of its information now and in the future in a simple and well-performing manner.
f The awarded bidder must design and maintain the new backup policies based on the requirements and background provided by TGR.
