Canada - Automated storage and retrieval system

Description

The CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches wishes to integrate an automated storage and retrieval system into the current HDL architectural concept. This will form a central hub providing a direct link between the activities of the medical device reprocessing unit (MDRU), the goods entry point (decalibration and reception activities) and the operating room, while respecting the architectural constraints of the current concept and the requirements of the safety and hygiene standards (ISO) required for an operating room. As far as possible, horizontal and vertical movement of materials should be handled by the automated storage and retrieval system. Finally, it will be important for the automated storage and retrieval system to enable system filling activities on the second floor and order picking activities on the third floor.
