Description

The Contracting Authority call for tenders for 1 waste autoclave for installation at Haugesund Hospital — Fonna Health Trust.The autoclave shall be installed at Haugesund Hospital and used to turn waste from medical treatment, in the categories of sharps and infectious waste, into regular residual waste. The waste to be processes is in vapour permeable hazardous waste plastic sacks, that in turn are in hazardous waste sacks made of cardboard. The boxes will be stabled in trolleys that is then rolled into the autoclave The autoclave shall be operated by hospital orderlies at the Hospital's service department.The current machine has a chamber volume of approx. 5 000 litres. The effective load is approx. 2 000 litres. The outer measurements of the current trolleys are 92 x 87 x 172 cm (Width x Depth x Height). The current routine includes 2 rounds. However, the contracting authority opens for increasing the number of daily rounds if this is proven cost efficient.The current machine is located in a room with a pit in the floor. The Contracting Authority expects alteration works for this room in connection with the new machine and is willing to execute the necessary work and cover the costs thereof.See Annex 2 — the requirements specification for more detailed information.
