Canada - Asset maintenance and general contracting services

Description

The Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec, hereinafter referred to as THE PUBLIC ORGANIZATION, wishes to issue a call for tenders for the acquisition of general contracting services for maintenance and asset upkeep work on our sites, via a performance-on-demand (POD) contract. The work to be carried out under the contract is diversified. The Contractor is called upon to intervene on more than 20 buildings, numerous infrastructures, underground networks, engineering structures, landscaped surfaces, monuments and works of art, park furniture, paving structures, and so on. The objects of intervention are spread across 13 parks and green spaces with a total surface area of over 174 hectares. Other sites are dedicated to the discovery, commemoration and promotion of the capital, and are included in the Contractor's scope of work. The contract is valid for one year from the date of signature of the notice of award. The Commission may renew the contract twice for a further period of 12 months each, under the same terms and conditions and at the sole discretion of the Commission. In order to comply with the requirements of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies for the acquisition of services, the PUBLIC BODY must issue a call for tenders in accordance with the procedure set out in the Regulation respecting certain service contracts by public bodies.
