With the DAS, Staatsbosbeheer aims to be able to easily and flexibly place and award contracts to engineering firms. In addition, Staatsbosbeheer aims to be able to attract the specific expertise needed in a flexible manner and to enable access for (new) companies. For this purpose, Staatsbosbeheer has chosen to establish a DAS and it invites interested parties, to register and apply for this DAS.
This DAS engineering services relates to project-based restoration, development and landscaping assignments carried out by the Forestry Commission. Engineering services assignments consist of both results-based assignments and effort-based assignments (not secondments). Every assignment placed within DAS engineering services falls within one or more of the task areas listed below, noting that these are directional and not exhaustive:- Ecology- Hydrology- Civil, cultural, and natural engineering- Water and soil science- Landscape and cultural historyThe nature of the work can be described as follows:- Feasibility studies and plan and/or vision development- (technical) Designs- General technical consulting services- Environmental management including permit management and RO procedures- Contract management and/or contract management- Cost estimates and Specifications- Management and supervisionState Forestry Administration reserves the right to vary the combination of different activities for each assignment.
