Description

The Nuclear Medicine Department (Imaging Zone - UZL) uses radioactive substances (radiopharmaceuticals) that are administered in very small, harmless quantities. These tracers make it possible to measure or visualise the functioning of an organ or tissue in the body. an extension of the existing infrastructure is necessary. The current location of the nuclear medicine department, strongly encapsulated between other hospital services, does not allow for expansion adjacent to the existing setting. After investigation, it was decided to provide a stand-alone new building volume for (the expansion of) the radiopharmacy activities, including an additional cyclotron bunker, on a vacant lot on the campus. This new building should provide space for three types of activity, including the production of tracers for internal, external and scientific research. Besides the production and research activity, which mainly takes place in a lab environment, there should also be sufficient administrative work space for both UZ Leuven and KU Leuven employees. The following matters are included in the contract (non-exhaustive): - the overall design brief, including the drawing up of tender dossier(s) for: - the carcass and finishing work, - the structure, - the technical installations, - the listing, installation and entry of individual items of equipment (including their reference and translation into the UZ Leuven standards) during the design phase, - the design coordination (including plan coordination) between the studies of carcass and finishing work and structure on the one hand, and the studies of technical installations on the other. This is total design coordination, i.e. including the coordination of any plots whose design is outside the scope of the designers' remit,- carrying out the necessary tasks within the framework of public procurement legislation with regard to concluding an agreement with contractors and obtaining subsidies to which the contracting authority is entitled,- supervision of the execution of the works, the execution designs of which are included in the contract; - plan coordination during the execution; - all tasks in the context of the EPB reporting; - cost price monitoring during all phases of the project; - drawing up all plans in 3D in accordance with the BIM methodology. In principle, the following tasks are not included in the contract: - safety coordination,- project management during execution,- site coordination.
