Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) operates a building automation system with a total of 2,800,000 data points. In addition to the "classic" functions such as heating and ventilation, the GA also controls the exterior and apron lighting, the obstruction light and the complete smoke extraction system. The intention is to replace the existing Honeywell IRC single room control system from 1992 for 1956 control loops.The subject of the contract award procedure is the planning services for the migration of the aforementioned room automation systems, including the coordination of the network planning (architecture, segmentation) with the IT of Munich Airport and the connection to the existing system or the management level. The following aspects must be taken into account:- Compliance with technical standards,- EN ISO 16484,- Works standard Manual 21, in particular N23 Parts 1 to 4, N30, N38,- Economic efficiency,- Ease of operation,- Minimum conversion time during operation,- The replacement must be planned in such a way that at least the existing actual state (data points, control, time programs, parameters, etc.) is completely transferred to the new control units. It must be examined to what extent it is technically possible and economically sensible to integrate further room automation functions, such as light control, shading, etc. If changes are required due to new official requirements (e.g. smoke extraction control), these must be incorporated into the planning. The same applies where improvements can be achieved due to the new technical possibilities available.
