28FEB24: This is a 2 year opportunity starting April, 2024. Works awarded during this period may be awarded for the life of the project, if agreed upon by both parties.This opportunity is to supply all required archaeological services for construction projects within BC Parks in the Kootenay and Okanagan regions. Projects include but are not limited to campground expansions, or planned for construction within this 2 year opportunity, as well as small operational projects.Duties of the successful proponent include:1) Securing archeological assessment permits for the geographic region covering the projects are you assigned.2) Liaising with BC Parks staff to offer advice and guidance for proposed projects.3) Completing archaeological overview assessments when required.4) Completing preliminary field reconnaissance actions when required.5) Completion archaeological impact assessment actions when required.Completing site alteration permit applications when required.Duties do not include:1) Consultation activities2) Cultural inventoriesFurther details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this RFP.28FEB24: Amendment #1 - Issue corrected with original document package issued.  Incorrect document attached as RFP Document.  Corrected.
