Canada - Aqueduct and sewer infrastructure rehabilitation work - Rue Galt Est, between Rue Bowen Sud and Boulevard de Lavigerie

The City of Sherbrooke is requesting tenders for the "Rehabilitation of aqueduct and sewer infrastructure - Galt Street East, between Bowen Street South and Lavigerie Boulevard" project.
The rehabilitation work covered by this call for tenders concerns the existing section :

Rue Galt Est, between rue Bowen Sud and Boulevard de Lavigerie.

Repairs to the aqueduct and sewer infrastructure on rue Galt Est, between rue Bowen Sud and Boulevard de Lavigerie, are covered by a subsidy (Programme de la taxe sur l'essence et de la contribution du Québec 2019-2023) TECQ.
Specifically, the scope of this call for tenders includes, but is not limited to:
Replacement of potable water mains, including valves, hydrants, service connections, etc;

Replacement of combined sewer lines with sanitary sewer lines;
Addition of a storm network, including manholes, catch basins, service connections, etc;
Complete reconstruction of roadway, sidewalks and curbs;
Addition of one-way bicycle links;
Reconfiguration and redevelopment of the intersection with rue Bowen Sud;
Complete site rehabilitation;
Signage, marking and reprogramming of traffic lights;
Breaking up and rebuilding existing massifs, rebuilding an access shaft and adjusting the chimney of three (3) access shafts (Bell Canada);
Excavation and backfilling for electrical work and coordination of work with Hydro-Sherbrooke.

All this work must be carried out in accordance with good engineering practice in order to provide the City with a complete, top-quality structure. This list is not exhaustive and is intended to give a general idea of the scope of the work to be carried out.
