Physical state at 20degree C: Dark grey to yellowish solid Chemical reactivity Reacts chemically with water or dilute acids to liberate phosphine gas the insecticidal fumigant Decomposition point 1000 degree C Solubility in organic solvents Insoluble Melting point Above 1350degree C Corrosiveness Slightly corrosive to copper and mercury.
