Description
The purpose of the contract is to provide banknote delivery services to central banks in West and Central Africa. These tickets are transported by means of dedicated Cargo flights. Transport will be by air mainly from Clermont-Ferrand Aulnat airport (CFE) and also from Lyon to airports in African countries receiving the freight. The tonnage per flight will reach 105 t. The number of Cargo flights to be carried out will be about 5 to 15 per year.As part of the contract, the service provider takes charge, in conjunction with the departure airport (most often Clermont-Ferrand CFE) and the arrival airport(s), of cargo handling operations on the tarmac, namely: - unloading of trucks at the departure airport,- air palletization if necessary,- loading of pallets on board the aircraft,- unloading of pallets at the aircraft's arrival airport(s),- de-palletization at the arrival airport(s).Handling operations are carried out by the service provider who provides the usual equipment (pallets, nets, etc.) necessary for these operations and for stowing the goods in the aircraft's hold.
