France - Air defence radar

Description

The contract aims to supply aerial anti-UAV systems (micro-UAVs (between 100 g and 2 kg) and mini-UAVs (between 2 and 25 kg)) and to ensure their maintenance in operational and safety condition.These systems will be able to be moved by road, sea and air from one site to another and will provide permanent 360º protection of the sites where they are deployed, in France and in theatres of external operations. These systems will detect, characterize, automatically identify and neutralize, in all weathers, day and night, drones emitting electromagnetic waves or not.Each system will include at least one upgradeable C2 system, a radar, a direction finder, an optronic system and a jamming system.The first systems will be delivered by the end of 2022 at the latest.This draft contract is subject to the procedure with negotiation in accordance with the provisions of Articles L. 2324-1, L. 2324-3, R. 2324-1, R. 2324-3, R. 2361-1, R. 2361-8 to R. 2361-11 of the French Public Order Code.This contract includes both lump-sum services and other services that may be ordered by purchase orders pursuant to Article R. 2362-8 of the French Public Order Code. By way of example, these may include:- adaptation to specific deployment constraints,- study of infrastructure for fixed sites,- study and implementation of the integration of new sensors/indicators,- software upgrades.Pursuant to Articles R. 2372-19 to R. 2372-21 of the French Public Order Code, as the contract may involve significant technical contingencies, it will include a proportion of supplies and services that could not be precisely defined in the initial public contract.
