United States - Aerospace ground equipment support, fuels management and transient alert

The 501st Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for operation, storage, inspection, and maintenance (including scheduled and unscheduled inspections) of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE); operations and maintenance of fuel storage facilities, Hydrant Facilities, Fuels Laboratory, Fuel Servicing Center (FSC), refueling vehicles, aircraft, ground support equipment and facilities; arrival and departure Transient Alert (TA) services; and special event support to include the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT).

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12) and will be negotiated pursuant to FAR Part 15. The proposed contract will be awarded using full and open competition. This service will be conducted at RAF Fairford and RAF Welford in the United Kingdom. Period of performance will be five (5) years; a base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) option periods of twelve (12) months each. The anticipated effective date will be 1 February 2019. The government intends to make a single award to the offeror that is lowest priced and technically acceptable.
Solicitation No. FA557019R0004 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 20 September 2019 at www.fbo.gov. Anticipated award date will be on or around 1 Dec 2018.
