Description
The Sûreté du Québec wishes to acquire a new solution for the deployment of IP telephony at all its sites, for a period of three (3) years, with two renewal options of one (1) year each.
The Sûreté du Québec has nearly 150 stations and other services across the province, grouped together at more than 120 addresses. These points of service are constantly changing and evolving, integrating new technologies through continuous improvement processes, as well as through the opening of new stations and the relocation and merger of existing stations.
The telephone systems of all substations are currently independent. They use several different technologies, including Centrex, BCM-50 and Norstar. Management of systems and line contracts is decentralized. Almost all substation telephone systems are wired in Category 3.
