Indonesia - Academic partner for shipbuilding engineering study programme

Description

The objective of the project is to strengthen the quality and relevance of shipbuilding engineering education at the Indonesian shipbuilding Institute in line with international best practice and industry trends.

This is should be done in a way that:

- promotes student employment prospects
- strengthens the capability of the institution
- helps reduce the skills mismatch experienced by industry

The collaboration should be delivered as an integrated series of activities that build on the strengths of the institution and its resources, through the sharing and development of expertise in the technical subject area and practical pedagogy.

This will be in co-ordination with the international development agency team, using its tools, training and best practice.

This includes:
- support for strengthening the curriculum and capacity building for the shipbuilding staff (this can include management staff), the number of staff will be discussed with you after the signing of the contract
- a series of curriculum-aligned activities that improve the students

If bidding you will need to submit technical and financial proposals.

Your technical proposal should include any case studies, references or other supporting information.

Your financial proposals should include a full breakdown of the budget, presented in an excel spreadsheet and with narrative explanation.

The Department for International Trade (DIT) Indonesia are not involved in the selection process, but can provide further information on request.
