Project Title: AAFES UST
1) The project is for replacing underground storage tanks and related components at an Defense Army and Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) gas station at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC. It includes replacing six under dispenser containment sumps, four 12,000-gallon underground fiberglass reinforced plastic gasoline storage tanks, associated piping, fittings, monitoring systems, and accessories. The work also includes removing old tanks and sumps, excavating and backfilling trenches, testing and commissioning the new system, and coordinating work with AAFES personnel. Certified underground storage tank technicians are required to perform the fuel tank work in compliance with environmental regulations.
2) Acquisition is a Small Business set-aside
3) Magnitude Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
4) Bid Bond required in the amount of 20% of Proposal Price. 
5) This will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract. 
6) Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
