CALL FOR TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS (ISO)
RECEIPT AND OPENING OF TENDERS IN QUEBEC CITY
DOSSIER NO: 9110-20-0901 - Reconstruction of Route 101, slope softening and granular resurfacing of a municipal road, in the municipalities of Notre-Dame-du-Nord and Saint-Bruno-de-Guigues, RCM of Témiscamingue, electoral district of Rouyn-Noranda-Témiscamingue.
The estimated amount1 of the contract is between $5,000,000 and $9,999,999.99.
Only bids submitted by contractors having an establishment in Quebec or in one of the territories covered by the applicable agreements and holding the required licence under the Building Act will be considered.
LIMITATIONS
The successful Contractor of the construction work contract and its affiliates will be ineligible to any subsequent call for tenders for the awarding of soil and materials monitoring and engineering contracts relating in whole or in part to the project in question.
The Contractor and its affiliates shall not act as subcontractors, directly or indirectly, of the companies with which the Minister will enter into the soil and materials monitoring and engineering contracts relating in whole or in part to the Project.
In the case of a contract for construction work awarded to a consortium of enterprises, these limitations also apply to each of the constituent parties and their respective affiliates.
To the extent that an overall project is divided into different sectors, blocks, phases, segments, etc., each such sector shall be considered a separate included project for the purposes of this limitation clause and the related eligibility clauses in the Instructions to Contractors.
This Contract will not be awarded to a Contractor unless the Contractor provides, no later than the time of signing the Contract, an ISO registration certificate in accordance with the ISO Quality Management System standard (or certification certificate) issued by a registrar accredited by the Standards Council of Canada or by an accreditation body recognized by the Standards Council of Canada.
BID SECURITY REQUIRED
- 10% of the bid amount (surety bond) OR
- 5% of the amount of the bid (certified or certified cheque, money order, draft, or
irrevocable letter of guarantee)
