This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. Bldg. 100, Houston, Texas 77030 to identify sources that are capable of providing Jorgenson Lockers for the Michael E. DeBakey Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 2002 Holcombe Blvd. Building #100; Houston, Texas 77030.
Background.
Inspections revealed the absence of required controlled security evidence lockers, so this
requirement will fulfill that requirement. This procurement is necessary for evidence transfer, evidence storage, crime scene investigations, and forensic evidence, maintaining a chain of custody for any stored evidence. The Veterans Affairs Police require evidence lockers that take security to the highest level possible, and this procurement fulfills that requirement. This requirement includes evidence lockers, delivery, and professional installation to the identified Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) locations in the Houston Texas Area and surrounding counties.

Other Requirements:
Delivery and Installation.
Preferred Delivery and Installation Services:
Services preferred for delivery to CBOC s and installation is the Houston Installation Services (HIS). CBOCs are located up to 140 miles from the MEDVAMC.
Deliveries may be made to HIS 421 W. Crosstimbers St., Houston, TX 77018 Attn: Joanne Creda or Tommy Twardowski if the preferred installation services is quoted.
If an alternate delivery and installation contractor option is quoted, the following requirements must be met:
Delivery and Installation Contractor shall be Certified and Insured to receive and install outpatient clinic furniture and equipment in the Houston Texas and surrounding counties area.
Must have over 10 years of hospital/medical environment experience in delivering and installing medical furniture and equipment. Â
Experience shall include experience in receiving and inspecting outpatient clinic furniture or equipment and written furniture/equipment installation damage reports.
Warranty and Support:
The warranty and support must cover all components of the requirement in accordance with standard manufacturer s warranty

The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post soon. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following:

(e.g. if CO determines that capable small businesses cannot provide fair and reasonable pricing, then the solicitation will not be set-aside).
