This is a sources sought/market research synopsis. The Alexandria VA Health Care System, Pineville, LA contracting office is performing market research to ascertain whether there are potential sources and their business size classification (HUB-Zone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or Veteran Owned Small Business). The Medical Center is particularly interested in identifying Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)/Veteran Owned-Small Business (VOSB) and their capability. The medical center intends to pursue a contract for the purchase of the Censitrac Tracking System for the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks, Springfield CBOC, Springfield, MO 65810. The Instrument Tracking System (ITS) improves patient safety, helps achieve efficient and sustainable processes, established document and record control processes, and provides systematic continuous improvement and internal auditing. ITS has become a standard of Sterile Processing Services (SPS) practices and the system is currently used at 137 VHA sites. The Veterans Administration is seeking authorized SDVOSB/VOSB distributors of the CensiTrac Instrument Tracking System. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541519-Other Computer Related Services with a small business size standard of $27.5M.
