This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following:

The interest and capability of small business, especially service disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business;

Whether the business source is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, verified by an authorization letter from the original equipment manufacturer;

Located in the state of Indiana, preferably Northern Indiana, and

Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333415 for the proposed acquisition.

The VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 10, is seeking potential sources, for a Walk-In Refrigerator and Walk-In Four Compartment Cooler/Freezer at its Fort Wayne Facility with the following specifications:

Installation Requirements:

Contractor shall perform all installation services between the hours 5:30 AM and 7:00 PM, 7 Days a week.

Contractor shall provide 1 freezer truck and 1 cooler truck for current food on hand during installation.

Uncrate, new walk-ins and move into location of installation.

Removal and disposal of existing units, including freon from old equipment

Contractor shall remove and dispose old outdoor condensing units and install new units in the subbasement with new piping, erect the boxes, and hang coils. Run and insulate refrigeration lines through the ceiling to the subbasement.

Contractor shall reinstall suppression sprinkler and sprinkler heads and make all final electrical connections within 5 feet of termination points.

Erect the boxes, hang coils and set new condensers in sub-basement.

Core drill the floor to sub-basement. Run refrigeration lines Not to Exceed 20 feet each.

Insulate refrigeration line.

Make final electrical connections to proper sized utilities to within five feet of terminating points.

Contractor shall provide and install a temporary plastic wall in front of walk in coolers during demolition and installation to provide a barrier.
