Description

The Université de Montréal is proceeding with a call for tenders in order to retain the services of a general contractor for construction and modification work to be carried out at the CEPSUM Pavilion located on its Mountain Campus.

Summary of the project and the work to be performed
The work planned for the CEPSUM pool facilities in project 55808 includes the correction of the ventilation system of all the rooms adjacent to the pool enclosure and the project provides for the reorganization of these rooms and the replacement of the finishes of the locker rooms
The air in the spaces (training rooms, locker rooms and offices) is humid and loaded with trichloramine. The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system will be modified to correct its design problem. Two new vents are being created on the exterior, on the north façade.
It should be noted that the building will be partially occupied during the work.

Work Schedule
The Contractor agrees to take all necessary measures to respect the schedule for starting the work on or about 2023-05-08 allowing the issuance of the Provisional Certificate of Acceptance for the locker rooms (level 4) at the latest on: 2023-09-04 and the Final Certificate of Acceptance in May 2024
