Description
Description of the project and mandate
The Université de Montréal is issuing a call for tenders for services based on the "quality" award method in order to retain the services of professionals for mechanical and electrical work to be performed at Pavillon 512 - Centrale Thermique located at its Campus of the Université de Montréal.
Currently, the thermal power plant provides steam for various buildings on the Mountain Campus. The project consists of installing new boilers with additional coils in the thermal power plant in order to take charge of the total steam production (process, humidification and heating) of several pavilions, to decommission certain boilers and to demolish various disused equipment.
The goal is to reduce the supervisory classification level with the new steam production facilities, as defined in "chapter M-6, r. 1 Regulation respecting stationary enginemen" (Stationary enginemen Act). Consideration will have to be given to the possible presence of existing mechanical equipment.
Term of Office
The expected service delivery period is from March 2021 to February 2023.
