CALL FOR TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK (ISO)

RECEIPT AND OPENING OF TENDERS


FILE N O: 3305-23-0201 - Rehabilitation of railway bridges at MP 108.00 and 108.10, Vallée subdivision, CFQC, in the town of Sainte-Marie, La Nouvelle-Beauce RCM, Beauce-Nord electoral division.


Only bids submitted by contractors having an establishment in Quebec or in one of the territories covered by the applicable agreements and holding the required license in accordance with the Building Act (RLRQ., chapter B-1.1) will be considered.

Tender documents are available only through the Système électronique d'appel d'offres (SEAO).


LIMITATIONS


The contractor awarded the construction contract and its affiliates will be ineligible for any subsequent call for tenders for the award of soil and materials monitoring and engineering contracts relating in whole or in part to the project in question.



The contractor and its affiliates will not be allowed to act as subcontractors, direct or otherwise, of the companies with which the Minister will conclude the soil and materials monitoring and engineering contracts relating in whole or in part to the project in question.



In the case of a construction contract awarded to a consortium, these limitations also apply to each of the constituent parties and their respective affiliates.


Insofar as an overall project is divided into different sectors, blocks, phases, segments, etc., each of these sectors is considered a separate covered project for the purposes of applying this limitation clause and the related eligibility clauses in the Instructions to Contractors.

This contract shall not be awarded to a contractor unless the contractor provides, no later than the signing of the contract, an ISO Quality Management System registration certificate (or certification attestation) issued by a registrar accredited by the Standards Council of Canada or by an accreditation body recognized by the Standards Council of Canada.

- 10% of bid amount (bond) OR

- 5% of bid amount (certified cheque, money order, draft or irrevocable
irrevocable letter of guarantee)
