Sealed Bids, addressed to the Sr. Procurement Specialist of the City of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida, will be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tendersTM until 3:00 PM local time, June 6, 2024 for:CITYWIDE BUFFER WALL PROJECT PHASE IICThe City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids from qualified Contractors for the construction of the Citywide Buffer Walls Phase IIC Project, Bid No. 24-17B. The Project includes approximately 2,500 linear feet (LF) of a precast system buffer wall and is generally located on the north side of Commercial Boulevard, between NW 58th Way and Rock Island Road with approximately 600 linear feet (LF) located north of Commercial Boulevard on the west side of Rock Island Road in Tamarac, Florida. The work shall include, but not limited to, site preparation, demolition, construction & installation of a new pre-cast concrete buffer wall system and associated work, concrete work, sidewalk construction, brick pavers installation, crash cushion installation, tree removal/protection, restoration, irrigation, sod installation and associated improvements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, furnishing of all transportation and services, including fuel, power, communications, water, etc., as necessary to complete the project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Project Design Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid No. 24-17B Documents herein, along with all engineering, shop drawing and other documentation necessary to obtain all applicable permits and all bonds, securities, licenses and insurance to complete the project as specified herein and within the Project Design Plans. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications/scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county and local regulatory requirements.A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, May 16,2024 @ 10:00AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at the link shown on the cover page of the Bid Document.
