Description
The City of Camden, New Jersey is seeking an experienced social service provider to provide comprehensive social services to Camden City residents and families who are homeless or who are vulnerable to becoming homeless. It is expected that this provider will develop and execute a community based, social service delivery model and spending plan that will address the above socioeconomic inequities among the city’s most vulnerable population. It is the City’s intent to choose one firm (multi-faceted social service firm), preferably an established regional homeless continuum of care organization for the development, implementation, and management of key elements of the city’s $3.1 million HOME ARP plan including but not limited to the management and implementation of the HOME ARP – Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program. The tenant based assistance program is intended “to assist low and moderate income persons and families at risk of being homeless to catch up on rent balances as well as maintain future housing stability.”This project is federally funded by US Department of Housing and Urban Development HOME Investment Partnership Program-American Rescue Plan (ARP).
