Sealed Bids, addressed to the Sr. Procurement Specialist of the City of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida, will be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tendersTM until 4:00 PM local time, June 1, 2023 for:The City of Tamarac is seeking proposers to provide and install poles and conduits, in support of the planned Parks WiFi Expansion (Phase 1) project at the following locations:1.         Tamarac Sports Complex      9901 NW 77th St, Tamarac, FL 333212.         Tephford Park                         10003 Southgate Blvd, Tamarac, FL 333213.         Mainlands Park                       4509 Monterey Dr, Tamarac, FL 33319Work includes installation of either Strong Pole, 12’ SteadyMax Florida Poles or Wisconsin Lighting Poles at locations, as specified and indicated in the Scope of Work Details.Alternate pole make / models may be considered by the City for this project, provided they meet or exceed Florida Building Code 2017 Specifications for a 170 MPH Wind Speed.  Alternate pole makes / models must be submitted to the City in advance for review and approval.  The City reserves the right to approve / disapprove alternate pole make / models.A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on May 17, 2023, @ 10:00 AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at shown on the solicitation document. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in bidding on this project should try to attend this meeting.
