Description
The City of Red Deer is experiencing an increased in the use of hydrovac trucks as a mean of exposing utilities and excavations in recent years. Therefore, the City would like to develop a more sustainable method to condition and manage non-sanitary hydrovac material by constructing a facility at the Waste Management Facility, within the S.E. ¼ of 34-37-27 W4M in Red Deer, Alberta. The facility’s aim is to provide an appropriate disposal location for non-sanitary hydrovac material produced by City projects and third-party contractors and convert them to usable cover soil for landfill operations at the WMF. The City has engaged Union Street for a geotechnical investigation to define subsurface soil strata and provide recommendations. This RFQ is extended for interested vendors to complete the work outlined in Section 1.4 and in these documents.
