Description

This Negotiated Request for Proposals (“NRFP”) invites interested suppliers to submit Proposals for a Cloud-Based E-commerce Platform and related services including implementation, configuration, some limited customization, maintenance, support and, if and as requested by the Province following implementation, professional services.The E-commerce Platform and related services are being procured by the Province’s Supply Services Branch, within the Procurement and Supply Division of the Ministry of Citizens’ Services. The proposed E-commerce Platform will assist the Province in modernizing its E-commerce shopping experience by providing more agile, flexible and User-friendly Digital Stores, including a Shopping Cart functionality for public sector workers as well as citizens, to purchase a wide variety of government goods and services from a wide variety of public entities.The Province uses an on-premise installation of SAP ECC6 as part of its technical infrastructure and the Contractor’s E-commerce Solution will be required to integrate with the Province’s SAP instance, to enable unified data flows, synchronized inventory management and real-time order processing.EXHIBIT 1 to APPENDIX D contains a description of the Province’s underlying IT systems architecture with which the desired E-commerce Platform will need to align, including a diagram illustrating the Province’s current E-commerce architecture and its intended future state.
