THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY AS DEFINED IN FAR 15.201(e). THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES - IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) OR A PROMISE TO ISSUE AN RFP IN THE FUTURE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS ISSUED IN SUPPORT OF MARKET RESEARCH, TO GATHER INFORMATION, AND TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL SOURCES. 
The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT), Technical Center, Air and Missile Defense Directorate, High Energy Laser (HEL) Division is identifying potential sources for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) 100kW, 1.07um, turn-key, fiber laser system. The laser system will consist of a laser and all supporting accessories required to provide a beam, on target. At a minimum, the system accessories shall include: an alignment 100kW laser, chillers, fiber cable (minimum of 30 feet), and collimator. The laser system shall also include compatible software to adjust the power source and laser duration during operation, and sensors to measure power output. The vendor shall provide a minimum of 1 year warranty to all components of the laser system and offer a repair service to replace broken fiber modules and power supplies in the field. Installation of the laser system will be required, and all components of the laser system are required to be shipped to the High Energy Laser Systems Test Facility (HELSTF) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico.

Please also provide no more than three examples of recent and relevant contract experience to the U.S. Government that relates to required contractor supplies or services describe above (please include contract type, period of performance, performance location, scope of work synopsis, contract awarded dollar value, and contract award obligated amount);
