TENDER SUMMARY
























The Centre de services scolaires Marie-Victorin, owner, is requesting quotes for the work to replace the FIRE ALARM SYSTEM (The work consists of the complete replacement of the fire alarm system). A virtual visit is planned for the A.M. PARENT SCHOOL, located at 3875 GRANDE ALLÉE, SAINT-HUBERT (Québec) J4T 2V8.

Bids must be accompanied by bid security, which must be in the form of a certified cheque, draft, irrevocable letter of guarantee or surety bond, equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The bid bond must be issued by a Financial Institution which is an insurer holding a permit issued in accordance with the Act respecting insurance (R.S.Q., c.A-32) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q.), c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c.46).

Where the bid security is in the form of a bond, it must be accompanied by a letter of undertaking issued by the issuer of the bond stating that a performance bond and a pledge, material and service bond will be granted to the successful tenderer.

Where security is in the form of a bond, the amount of each bond shall be fifty percent (50%) of the contract price.

Where the security is in the form of a certified cheque or draft, the tender security must be issued in favour of the school board. This tender security may be exchanged no later than fifteen (15) days after the sending of the letter of tender for a performance bond and a pledge, material and service bond, the amount of each being equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price.
The Commission scolaire Marie-Victorin does not undertake to accept any of the bids received.
