Julie has spent most of her career helping hundreds of SMEs to access a range of funded business support programmes. Whilst working as a Business Adviser she supported all aspects of business planning and, as an Innovation Adviser for various companies she has helped businesses with their innovation grant applications. Julie has also run her own business support consultancy supporting numerous small to medium companies to engage with large corporates.
Lorraine Smith
International & Global Programmes Manager, Innovate UK Business Growth
Lorraine manages the international team and global programmes for Innovate UK Business Growth in the East of England. Lorraine and her team take care of the delivery of Global Business Innovation Programmes and Global Incubator Programmes which are funded and designed by Innovate UK. The programmes cover many key industry sectors including everything from AI to Net Zero, across markets from Australia to New Zealand. The programmes support growth of UK businesses through R&D, collaboration and partnership opportunities.

Andy has been an innovation practitioner for more than 20 years, delivering a wide range of projects for both the public and private sector. He has been a company founder and is passionate about supporting UK innovators to grow and scale on a global stage.
