As the Global CEO of Crowd, a creative and digital transformation agency, I have over 20 years of experience in leading, innovating, and expanding the business into new markets and territories. I have a proven track record of delivering results for global brands, governments, and organisations across various sectors and industries, leveraging my expertise in creative direction, social networking, and dyslexic thinking.
My mission is to support the development and export of creative excellence and British digital talent of all genres, and to collaborate with leading British agencies and businesses to promote UK advertising at scale. I am also passionate about nurturing and incubating raw talent, and sharing my knowledge and insights as a respected university lecturer. Michael Philpott
Senior Sales Manager Europe and USA, Whittard of Chelsea
Michael was born in Belgium, but after living in London for 19 years, the UK is now his home. He is currently at Whittard of Chelsea, a British heritage brand established in 1886 by Walter Whittard, offering the finest tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
With over 40 stores in the United Kingdom, Whittard is predominantly a retailer, however it has been exporting its products globally for many years, with a presence in over 40 markets through a combination of wholesale and franchise partners. Its exports amount to £10 million per year, driven by the USA, Europe, China, Singapore and our franchise stores in Taiwan and South Korea.
