We advised Company A, a leading, innovative manufacturer and supplier of a range of soil preparation, seeds sowing and fertilizing products. It is a family-owned business with a turnover of around 50 million Euros per annum and over 250 employees. It has its main operations in France. We advised Company A with its project of expansion in the UK market. Our sister company, Heath Lodge Secretaries, set up Company B, UK subsidiary owned entirely by Company A. Our law firm, Berard and Lovell solicitors, then negotiated and drafted a collaboration agreement between Company B and another UK company which manufactures and distributes a range of soil treatment equipment. This allowed the two companies to combine their commercial and technical expertise to promote sales in the UK. This also allowed the two companies to reduce their administrative and commercial costs. We also drafted and negotiated a lease agreement for their premises in the UK and drafted their employment contracts.
