Setting up business in the UK

Working alongside the business we designed a plan for their UK introduction, developed a timeline for what they needed to do in the lead up to their UK expansion, covered company formation, bank accounts, VAT and payroll registrations, and HR, and employment requirements, etc.

During the following two years we had regular meetings and calls with the business in relation to their plans and assisted with the tax implications of bringing some of their US team to the UK for the initial development phase. This first club had a large fit-out spend so we also worked closely with their property team to ensure that from a UK tax perspective the company was achieving maximum tax efficiencies on this capital expenditure as possible.

Once the club opened we then became the company's finance team, looking after all their UK back-office financial compliance; reporting directly to their NYC head office team.
