We were instructed the day after the company’s Tier 2 (General) licence ended, through failure of the company to renew it. We assisted with the submission of a new licence application, submitted three days later, and liaised with the UKVI to get it approved a further three days later. This process normally takes months. We also advised the company’s sponsored migrants on their situations, one of whom was abroad at the time, so risks were high. Later we assisted one of them with their application for Indefinite Leave to Remain, which was approved despite this gap in their sponsorship.
