Pacira Pharmaceutical's first overseas subsidiary in the U.K
As a first step, we obtained a sponsorship license for the newly established English subsidiary company before securing a visa for the first U.S. executive to come to England.
We helped Pacira devise and implement a global mobility policy, from cost of living and expatriate allowances to offering practical help such as organising familiarisation visits to the UK for U.S. executives and their families.
Our specialists dealt with all tax and social security aspects of the assignments, organised home and host country tax briefings, compliance and filings in both jurisdictions on an ongoing basis.
We dealt with UK tax registrations; payroll; organised local benefits provision, including pensions auto-enrolment; salary sacrifice arrangements, the roll out of the company’s stock option, restricted stock and all employee stock purchase plan, and related advice on aspects including tax, social security, financial services regulation, pensions law, and data protection.
