Our client, Mytilineos is a multinational Greek conglomerate with a market cap of over $1.5bn; it is one of the 20 largest companies in Greece. Its operations span Metallurgy, EPC, Electric Power and Gas Trading.
We have advised the group on how to use the UK as an intermediary holding jurisdiction, providing detailed tax advice on the UK’s double tax treaty network, the dividend exemption and interest deductibility rules. The group has, via the UK and with our advice, expanded in to half a dozen international jurisdictions.
Elemental now also assist with bookkeeping, accounting, corporation tax, HR, payroll, pensions, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, Intrastat reporting, CbC reporting, company secretarial and legal matters.
