A multi-national, blue-chip company needed a robust Risk Management System to help identify major risks during a period of high growth. Our team used technical modelling methodology for the design process and conducted a detailed stakeholder analysis to understand the requirements and expectations of the system. We also created a prototype of the tool prior to full development for analysis and sign-off by our client. Our team then built a tool within a collaborative SharePoint environment to ensure managers were able to effectively communicate the key risks to the global leadership team. This approach was well received as the client was already familiar with SharePoint. The product exceeded the client's expectations by significantly improving organisational excellence through effective risk management potentially saving billions of dollars. The Fifth Business was subsequently commissioned to develop new functionality as well as build other critical business systems for the company.
