Please note that this is NOT an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue additional announcements or solicitation documents. The Battle Creek VA Medical Center, Battle Creek, MI, is conducting a market research survey for qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Small Businesses capable of providing the required Construction Services outlined below for the VA Medical Center located in Battle Creek, MI. Applicable NAICS codes 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors Fire Alarm System, Electric, Installation Only and Small Business Size Standard $15.0 million. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of the contraction project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested parties must have a working office that would provide the professional services within a 125-mile radius of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Summary Scope of Work for Project No. 515-14-123 titled Replace Fire Alarm System ,

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, testing, as-built information and all other related information.

This project will replace fire all alarm initiating and indicating devices, control panels and annunciator panels found in buildings on the Medical Center, the monitoring stations in both the fire department and a redundant station in the police dispatch. Project will also replace fire alarm wiring found in buildings and fiber optic termination but will utilize existing fiber optic lines outside the buildings and provide a complete and functional system when finished.

Experience:

In order to be deemed qualified a minimal of 10 consecutive years experience of self-performing the installation of similar fire alarm systems at this magnitude.
