Description
All the services to be provided by the concessionaire are described in the draft contract. The Haute-Savoie department is the organising authority for the Mont Blanc tramway (TMB), which is a ski lift within the meaning of Article L. 342-7 of the Tourism Code. The Mont Blanc tramway links Le Fayet (in Saint-Gervais) to the Nid d'aigle (altitude 2372 m). In order to ensure the operation of the TMB, the department has concluded a concession contract whose term is set at 31.5.2020. The purpose of the consultation is to entrust an operator with the operation of the TMB, the execution of work on the railways, the definition and execution of the tourist project, the maintenance, upkeep and renewal of the tramway and related equipment.
