With the help of the funding modules of the EBN funding guideline, energy consumers can be provided with knowledge on economically viable energy efficiency potential and a basis for optimal investment decisions can be created. As part of a comprehensive evaluation, the effects of the EBN funding guideline are to be assessed for the first time for the funding years 2021-2024, in particular as a contribution to the performance review (target achievement, impact and economic efficiency review) prescribed by Section 7 (2) BHO. Proposals for the further development of the EBN funding guideline will also be submitted.
The assignment is divided into three work packages (WP):
WP 1: Implementation of a target achievement, impact and economic efficiency review as a
contribution to the performance review pursuant to Section 7 (2) BHO;
WP 2: Further questions and recommendations for action;
WP 3: Provision of data for national and European reporting obligations in the context of
monitoring of savings from national efficiency measures (NAPE, EED)
