This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ-NIAID-1953565 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ).
This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-07 as of 01/22/2019.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332618 with a small business size standard of 500. This is a total small business set aside.
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to purchase new feeding lids meeting these specifications:

• RIM ROD DESIGN WITH 14 GAUGE & 11 GAUGE 304 STAINLESS STEEL ROD,
• HALF SIZE (RODENT USE)
• STOPPER GUARD,

• FRONT AND REAR OF FEEDER ANGLED,
• ELECTROPOLISHED
• Quantity 15000

The required product must fit on a Lab Products 750 cage. The dimensions of the feeder are approximately 7 ¼ deep by 5 ¾ wide by 3 ¼ height (feeder to cage bottom).
Delivery on or before 120 days ARO.

The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor as a result of this RFQ that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. The award will be based on the following; capability to meet the requirements, delivery time, warranty, and price and the best value to the government.
