Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division – Picatinny Detachment (NSWC IHD), contracts Department, Code 02, requires the manufacturer to fabricate, test, inspect, palletize and deliver Undefined Metal Weapons Containers, including but not limited to: CNU 762, MK 733, MK 750, MK 812, MK 825, Shipping Containers, as well as spare parts to include but not limited to shock mounts, foam inserts, cradles and container dollies, which are required for shipping the various naval munitions. These munitions are in support of multiple programs not limited to Vertical Launch Systems (VLS), Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS), Light Weight Torpedo (LWT), Heavy Weight Torpedo (HWT) and various Standard Missile (SM) programs.
The Government intends to award Multiple five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts with Firm Fixed Priced Delivery Orders to all responsible Small Business set aside Offerors whose proposal is Technically Acceptable in accordance with the Factors and Sub-factors set forth in the solicitation. Once the Government makes contractual awards, individual delivery orders will be competed and awarded based on best value via Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) or Tradeoff Approach from a combination of any of the following factors: technical, past performance, delivery schedule and price, unless an exception applies.
Cost or price information will not be evaluated for the base award; however, price will be evaluated at each Delivery Order award.
