Wallpapers that are so damaged (total loss) or whose surface is seriously deformed by abrasion are removed and replaced by coatings in the background tone. In severely damaged areas that cannot be restored, selected wallpaper surfaces should be preserved and preserved in their current condition. A restorer with 5 years of professional experience is required (the requirements are listed in III.1.3.3).
